about

i improvised this after my grandma died, and i performed the piece on a keyboard she had given me as a teenager. the instrument in question was prominently featured on all of my early albums and was integral in my development as a songwriter and producer. i would always give her copies of my new albums and tell her all about which songs featured that keyboard. she always told me i need to write more love songs. i never forgot that.
